Many distributors offer free shipping over a certain threshold, so it’s often wise to consolidate your orders where possible. If you need a part now, expedited shipping can be very expensive. Taxes/Duties: For international orders, be aware of import duties and taxes. These can sometimes add a significant percentage to your total cost and can be a surprise if you’re not expecting them. Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ): Some manufacturers and distributors have MOQs, meaning you might have to buy a reel of 5,000 resistors when you only need 10.
